Gunther’s Millions is the wildest Netflix documentary since Tiger King, focusing on a dog with a $400,000,000 fortune (£328m) and his many business ventures.
The German Shephard, named Gunther, inherited his vast wealth from his owner, a countess, who installed family friend Maurizio Mian to be in charge of the trust.
Alongside a staff of 27 and private jets, Mian also snapped up Madonna’s former home in Miami, where he founded an entertainment group stoke scientific project, named The Burgundians.
The Burgundians were auditioned and selected based on their physical attributes, the documentary reveals, and lived a life of never-ending luxury in the Like A Virgin singer’s abode.
The group was even briefly a pop group, releasing the single Wild Dogs, although it was a critical and commercial flop.
Alongside a showbiz career, the documentary reveals The Burgundians were monitored 24/7 by a team of scientists and researchers to ascertain what the essence of true happiness was.

However, it took a dark turn, with The Burgundians living under 13 commandments and watched while having sex, its former members told the programme makers.
The Burgundians projects didn’t last, but what are their former members up to now and how can you follow them on social media?

Michelle explains she was recruited into The Burgundians by her former flame Lee Dahlberg, who was working for the Gunther organisation.
While she told programme makers life got ‘weird’ in the group, due to being monitored round-the-clock, she ultimately said the experience had ‘opened’ her mind.
As Gunther’s Millions shows, Michelle now runs a dog-sitting business from her home.

Carla Riccitelli

Carla was the defacto leader of The Burgundians and enjoyed a romance with fellow member Lee, as well as marrying Maurizio.
She and Maurizio share a son together but split up amicably after he was born and remain very close friends.
The Italian still works as Maurizio’s ‘right-hand woman’ and for The Gunther Corporation, with the exes seen eyeing up a tropical island for their next venture, an animal sanctuary, at the end of the documentary.
Carla is on Instagram under the handle @carletta69 although her profile is set to private.

After a chance encounter at a bar, Lee was hired as Gunther’s spokesperson and became part of The Burgundians, living the high life in the Queen of Pop’s former abode.
According to Lee’s Instagram, he now enjoys a multi-hyphenate career, working as a model and as a jewelry designer for his own brand, Rock Band, which specialises in ‘healing stones.’
He also upcycles furniture and renovates classic cars, as well as running a photography business.
