I ordered wedding dresses from ASOS – I didn’t expect a lot because they were so cheap, here’s how I got on

PEOPLE can spend millions of pounds on the perfect wedding dress for their big day.

But while there are tonnes of designer beauties on the market, there are also some cut-price alternatives.

However, she fell in love with this beaded gown, which cost just £180TikTok/@sophie.beresfordx

It was super flattering and really sparkly, with Sophie admitting she was in love with itTikTok/@sophie.beresfordx

Sophie decided to try her luck with ASOS, and placed an order for several budget wedding dresses from the online retailer – sharing a video of the results.

“I did a thing,” she began her TikTok video.

“I may have ordered wedding dresses off of ASOS.

“I don’t know what I’m doing anymore. This is scary!”

The first dress featured a mesh bodice and sleeves, with floral embroidery, and a flowing skirt.

Sophie couldn’t get the back done up, but added: “I don’t feel like a bride in this.

“This isn’t for me, but someone might come across my page and go, ‘This is amazing I need that dress’.”

But the second dress was much more successful.

“I actually really like this one,” Sophie said as she modelled the heavily beaded number, with a low-cut neckline and open back.

“I think this is a good contender.

“This is actually beautiful. I love this. This is so flattering.”

She said that the zip at the back does go up further, noting that “ASOS zippers are actual trash”, but added: “This is beautiful”.

“This is so cute,” she gushed.

“I actually love this dress. Oh my God.

“It feels expensive as well and I think this was only £180.

“But this, if you’re doing it on a budget.”

Sophie concluded by saying that she’d ordered another wedding dress from ASOS which hadn’t arrived, so would be sharing another video when it did.

People were quick to take to the comments section to praise Sophie on her bridal finds, with one writing: “the second one is just *chef’s kiss*.”

“That second one is gorgeous on you imagine that with all your hair done maybe a low messy bun with bits falling out,” another added.

As a third commented: “the second one is my wedding dress! I’m so in love!

“You look stunning!”

But she acknowledged it was a beautiful dress, and might be perfect for a different brideTikTok/@sophie.beresfordx
