Woman shows off her unique outfit for brunch but everyone’s saying the same thing about her shorts
A WOMAN has found herself at the centre of backlash after sharing the eye-catching outfit she wore to her friend’s birthday brunch.
Lucy took to her TikTok page to share a video in which she and her friend Silke showed off their fits ahead of the day out.

“Hey guys, we’re going out today for my friend’s birthday,” Lucy began.
“We’re going to a bottomless brunch and then Dreamboys.
“We’re going to show you what we’re wearing.”
She then detailed her outfit and where everything was from – a pair of Public Desire white knee-high boots, red bra and knickers from PLT and a cropped denim jacket also from PLT.
She completed the look with a mini white bag from Ego.
But it was the fact that she’d left her denim hotpants undone that sparked the majority of criticism in the comments section.
“Hilarious what some girls will wear just for attention,” one wrote.
“The same kinda girl be crying when a man wolf whistles.”
“I don’t understand? Who goes out with their shorts undone?” another asked.
As a third joked: “Only time I’ve worn my shorts unbuttoned is the all inclusive lunch on holiday.”
“I’m 27 and never felt so old, since when do we wear stuff like this?” someone else wrote.
“My darling I may be old but one should leave a little to the imagination,” another said.
As another comment read: “Seriously thought it was fancy dress.”
Others were quick to praise Silke for her much more subdued outfit, which consisted of a white Zara corset, Shein black trousers, PLT bag and New Look shoes.
