Winter Love Island 2023 is now underway… but the summer series has yet to arrive.

We don’t yet know who’ll win this winter series – but we have met plenty of new singletons, seen a sprawling new South African villa, and welcomed Maya Jama as the new host of the hit ITV2 show.

Last year’s summer series, meanwhile, saw fan favourite couple Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti walk away with a £50,000 prize pot.

If you’re loving the latest iteration of the show or just fancy landing yourself a spot in the infamous villa for summer 2023, then you’re in luck as applications are currently open.

Here’s how you can apply…

The website says: ‘ITV2 are looking for vibrant singles from across the UK who want to head to the sun, in search of love!

‘The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another, but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow Islanders who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island.’

Firstly, the application will ask you to submit some details about yourself, including:

Your full name

Age

Address

Email address

After this, you need to submit:

A headshot photo

A full-length photo of yourself

Three optional extra photos

Your occupation

Contact number

Any social media handles

More: Love Island

Lastly, you will need to send a landscape video of yourself saying why you would like to be on Love Island and what makes you suitable for the show.

Although the chances are some slots are already filled – the producers are known to pluck contestants from social media beforehand – you can register your interest for a spot on the show.

A closing date has not yet been announced for applications.

After you’ve submitted your application, if producers are interested in you you may be invited to the next stage of audition. Dates for the audition and casting period have also not yet been announced.
