Some Might Say Brits host Mo Gilligan is more than a little bit relieved that he didn’t offend Liam Gallagher.
During last year’s ceremony, the comic performed a spot-on impression of Liam – a skit the Oasis legend saw for the first time in the dress rehearsal.
‘I put on the hat with the glasses and the jacket, and I’m like, “Yeah, mate, you know what I mean, Manchester Utd mate, don’t talk to me, bro,”’ Mo, 34, told Capital Breakfast’s Roman Kemp.
‘I had to go back to my dressing room, and I was like, “Aargh, his room’s next to mine”. I was just waiting for a knock on the door. But he was fine. He said he enjoyed it.’
And Mo will Roll With It on Saturday when he presents the Brits for a second time at the O2 in London.
