WWE superstar Sami Zayn acknowledged Jey Uso on SmackDown as tensions continued to simmer for The Bloodline.

The former Honorary Uce issued a warning to Roman Reigns before their upcoming Undisputed WWE Universal Title match at Elimination Chamber in Montreal next weekend, and there are sure to be more twists in the tale.

The show started with Paul Heyman coming to the ring to address the fractured status of The Bloodline, but he was interrupted by Sami as the Tribal Chief’s challenger insisted he will beat him in Montreal in a fantastic back and forth between two masters on the mic.

Jimmy Uso couldn’t find Jey or even get hold of him before their tag team championship match against Braun Strowman and Ricochet, but his brother appeared through the crowd at the last second.

The twins worked together brilliantly en route to a big win, but backstage Jey admitted to Jimmy he wasn’t sure about his status in The Bloodline.

They were being watched by Heyman, who realised Jimmy was lying when he denied Jey talking about the group.

Later, Sami caught up with Jey and acknowledged the Right Hand Man with a fist bump, with the pair appearing to be on the same page on the surface.

The final moments of the show saw Heyman warn Jimmy that the duo should watch the show from home next week because they’ll be able to see things they don’t get to witness in the moment.

Madcap Moss earns Intercontinental Championship match, Ronda Rousey returns and more

The first match of the night saw Drew McIntyre and Sheamus utterly destroy Hit Row’s Top Dolla and Ashante Thee Adonis.

After the bell, Valhalla appeared on the titan tron to reveal the two warriors will face The Viking Raiders next week.

Lacey Evans also had a dominant victory, defeating local talent Carmen Haress with the Camel Clutch.

Ronda Rousey returned and attacked Natalya (Picture: WWE)

Ronda Rousey made her return as she interrupted a verbal sparring between Natalya and Shayna Baszler, with the two ex-MMA stars beating down the in-ring veteran.

Shotzi attempted to make the save but only got met with an attack from the villainous duo, who stood tall as they look ready to join the tag team ranks.

Raquel Rodriguez shone at the expense of Chelsea Green (Picture: WWE)

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez beat Sonya Devile and Chelsea Green in a fun match that shone a light on the latter’s entertaining work at the moment, while building momentum for the victors before Elimination Chamber next weekend.

In the main event, Imperium were up in a skybox watching on as Rey Mysterio, Karrion Kross, Madcap Moss and Santos Escobar battled for a chance to face GUNTHER for the IC Title.

The main event was brilliant from bell to bell with all four stars really stepping up under the bright lights with plenty to get excited about in terms of potential feuds and developments between them too.

In the end, WWE delivered a massive shock as Moss was the one to score the win and earn himself a huge match against the Ring General, where he will prove a lot of people wrong.

Elsewhere during the show, in a sitdown interview Charlotte Flair vowed to beat Rhea Ripley when the two meet for the SmackDown Women’s Title at WrestleMania 39, while LA Knight insisted he was ready to move on from Bray Wyatt.

WWE SmackDown airs Friday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
