I had a major shapewear fail while wearing double Skims – it looked great from the front but was a disaster from behind
A SKIMS customer has detailed her embarrassment after doubling up on Kim Kardashian’s clothing brand.
The fashionista paired shapewear with an iconic dress, but the resulting silhouette left her feeling like a “diaper girl.”

The influencer shared her devastating discovery in a candid TikTok video.
Even though she looked flawless from the front, Renee Rodriguez (@reneedrodriguez) couldn’t stand the rear view.
In fact, she said she will “never wear this shapewear again” after her mortifying Skims disaster.
“Something so embarrassing happened to me today and I am crying,” Rodriguez confessed at the start of her video.
She modeled the Skims Soft Lounge Dress, $88, which she wore backward to give it a higher neckline.
“I decided to wear this Skims dress, it looked super cute,” she explained. “I was also wearing Skims shapewear.”
Rodriguez wore the brand’s mid-thigh Sculpting Shorts, $34, which reach almost to the knee.
“I didn’t realize they had the butt cutouts,” Rodriguez revealed grimly.
Turning to show a view of her behind, Rodriguez said, “Please look at my butt. Look at it!”
Unlike the thigh and waist, the seat of the sheer sculpting shorts doesn’t have compression material.
That’s meant to “lift” the wearer’s butt – but Rodriguez didn’t see the intended effect through her dress’s material.
“It looks like I’m literally wearing a diaper and that I’ve s**t myself,” she moaned.
“I’m walking around all day thinking I look hot as s**t in this f***ing dress.”
“From the front, great,” she added. “From the back? No. Diaper girl.”
Her viewers laughed with her, not at her, and many insisted the dress looked perfectly styled.
