I’m a catfish – I’m built like a door but I have learned how to style my body type, people say I’m ‘immaculate’

A TIKTOK influencer has called herself a “catfish” after she discovered how to flatter her body shape with clothes.

Anastasia, who posts on social media under the username @anastasiagerrans, claims she is “built like a door.”

With over 51 million likes and almost one million followers, the college student has reassured women who dislike their “rectangle” shape.

She has also posted a number of videos with tips on how to style yourself for that body shape.

The 21-year-old posted a video showing herself in outfits that accentuate her rectangular shape followed by ones that flatter it.

She wrote: “You’re built like a door but you learned to style your body type. #Catfish”

With Catfish by Lil Chawley as the sound to her montage, she then showed the range of outfits that showed how different her body can look with different clothes.

In one she wears baggy pants and an oversized tee that hangs down to her thighs.

This then transitions to her wearing a ruffled white flowy mini-skirt with a matching off-the-shoulder crop top.

The layered pieces give the illusion of more curves and add textures and definition to her look.

The crop top shows off a part of her midriff, again accentuating her waist, and the flowy top gives her a more defined waist and hips.

The following outfits show how she chooses pieces that can pinch in at the waist but with flowy tops to make her top half more shapely.

She also chooses pants or skirts that have a shape to them in order to give shape to her legs or hips.

One viewer commented saying: “Please where do you shop? Your style is immaculate.”

Another said: “You’re very beautiful don’t listen to people, they always complain.

“If you’re skinny they’ll comment on it and if you’re fat they’ll also comment on it.”

One shared the TikToker’s frustration with her shape, saying: “I could do this and maybe people would stop thinking I’m a little boy.”

In another video telling viewers “how to style a door body type”, Anastasia uses a tucked-in tee into a skirt to again highlight her waist, hips, and long legs.

She also ensures that there is layering on the top with a black camisole poking out above the white tank top.

Anastasia’s other tip to followers is to wear the correct size clothing.

“Seems obvious…but it is one of the most important details people miss,” she said.
