Florence Pugh appeared to have confirmed her new relationship this week after stepping out with photographer and blogger Charlie Gooch.

The pair, who have worked together on a couple of occasions in the past, were pictured together on Valentine’s Day holding hands and hugging as they stepped out in London.

They were seen in good spirits, laughing and joking together as they strolled through the city.

In other photos, they could be seen in a pub beer garden enjoying some wine and a smoke, with Florence sporting a casual ensemble made up of a grey sweater, loose black trousers and a grey bomber jacket.

She completed the look with black trainers, white-framed sunglasses and hoop earrings, while Charlie was similarly low-key in a grey hoodie worn under a blue bomber jacket, black jeans, a bright blue bomber jacket, and white high-top boots.

The photos come after Florence, 27, split from former Scrubs star Zach Braff, 47, last year after they first started dating in 2019, and the actress revealed the news in an interview with Harper’s BAZAAR as she confirmed they had quietly broken up.

‘We’ve been trying to do this separation without the world knowing, because it’s been a relationship that everybody has an opinion on,’ she revealed last summer. ‘We just felt something like this would really do us the benefit of not having millions of people telling us how happy they are that we’re not together.’

She added: ‘So we’ve done that… I automatically get a lumpy throat when I talk about it.’

Florence worked with Zach in upcoming movie A Good Person, and she has since told Vogue why she thinks there was so much interest in their relationship.

‘They imagined me with someone younger and someone in blockbusters,’ she suggested. ‘I think young relationships in Hollywood are so easily twisted because they add to the gossip sites. It’s exciting to watch. And I think I was in a relationship that didn’t do any of that.’

Florence is yet to address the rumoured romance on social media, instead sharing pictures and thoughts from the Harris Reed show at London’s Tate Modern on Thursday.

Meanwhile, she recently admitted her relationship with social media has changed over recent years, particularly now she has over eight million followers.

‘The more follows you get, the more aware you are of what it is that you’re saying. Not that I say a lot of bad stuff, but not everybody understands who you are when they start following you,’ she told Vanity Fair magazine’s Hollywood issue.

‘If my head and heart are hurting for no other reason other than just anxiety, I take it off my phone from the moment I can feel that anxiety. I don’t need to be reading all of that stuff, and I don’t need to be egging myself on to read it either.

‘My relationship with social media has become more understanding of when it helps me and when it doesn’t – being okay to just take it off for a few days, or a week, or a month.’
