There are only a few Kneazle dens spread throughout the Hogwarts Legacy map but here’s where to find them all.
Kneazles are some of the cuter magical beasts to exist in the Wizarding World, especially when compared to trolls who are also a tad more aggressive.
These cat-like creatures make for trusted companions, with Hermione’s half-Kneazle Crookshanks famously sniffing out Scabbers (i.e., Peter Pettigrew) before anyone else suspected a thing.
Keeping domesticated animals as pets is not possible in Hogwarts Legacy but you can rescue and tame magical beasts, including Kneazles.
If you’re an aspiring Magizoologist you’ll get the chance to keep creatures in your Beast Vivariums.
These first become available after completing The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and the Loom quest and allow you to keep beasts in an area accessed from the Room of Requirement, where you can visit them whenever you want.
After you complete the quest the house elf Deek gives you the magical Nab-Sack and teaches you about beast-catching.
Where to find Kneazle dens in Hogwarts Legacy
Like all magical beasts in Hogwarts Legacy, Kneazles can be found at certain locations scattered throughout the open world.
So far, we’ve found five Kneazle dens in the game, with the majority of them located in the south of the map.
From north to south, here are all the Kneazle den locations in Hogwarts Legacy:
In the small forest, south of the Brockburrow hamlet
At the South Sea Bog
By the coast, west of the Bainburgh hamlet
On top of a hill, north of the Cragcroft hamlet
At the southwestern end of Clagmar Coast

You can pet and feed the creatures you catch all you want in your Vivariums, and in return, they will provide you with helpful materials.
Catching a few Kneazles will give access to a source of Kneazle fur, one of several ingredients used to craft gear upgrades.
Kneazle fur is also used to craft several useful traits, like Anti-Venom and Necromantic Protection , with the Enchanted Loom.
