I thought I’d found THE dress for a pal’s wedding but my man says it’s totally inappropriate… and everyone else agrees

A WOMAN who thought she’d found the perfect dress for her friend’s wedding was left fuming when her boyfriend said it was totally inappropriate.

Catherine took to her TikTok page to share a video of herself sporting the revealing cobalt blue dress, which had cut outs across the torso and cleavage.

“I have a wedding coming up and I’ve been saving this dress. I just trie dit on and my boyfriend told me that he thinks it’s not appropriate for a wedding,” she began her TikTok video.

“So here’s the dress.”

Standing up to show the dress in all its glory, she continued: “I’m obsessed with the colour of this, but he’s telling me that the cutouts are a little much for a wedding.

“The back is just normal.”

While she admitted she could “kind of see what he’s saying”, she added that “on the other hand it’s not a black tie wedding and it’s in summer, so…”

“Do we agree with him or is he dumb?” she captioned her video.

And the majority of people in the comments section insisted that her boyfriend was right.

“Agree with him,” one wrote.

“I agree with him, it’s not wedding appropriate,” another added.

“But it looks great for another occasion.”

“looks cheap sorry,” a third commented.

“I think you look a absolutely stunning, but I do agree with him. Also if you sweat in that material it shows,” someone else wrote.

“Too exposed for a wedding but you look great,” another agreed.

But others insisted Catherine should just go ahead and wear the gown.

“I think it’s totally appropriate! Go off sis,” one wrote.

“I love it you look amazing! I would wear it,” another added.

As a third commented: “i would wear it.”
