When budding entrepreneurs go on The Apprentice, they can expect to enjoy a taste of luxury, from jetting off to exotic locations to enjoying plush experiences if they win tasks.

However, brushing shoulders with a Hollywood superstar might not be as common an occurrence.

Last night, Mark Moseley became the latest candidate to be fired by Lord Alan Sugar in week 8, after his team failed to make the big bucks with an immersive experience set in a prison.

While speaking to Metro.co.uk, Mark remembered one morning at the house where the 2023 cast was all staying, when he walked outside with a cup of tea and bumped into none other than Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot.

But the catch – Mark had no idea who she was.

‘I spoke to my neighbour Gal Gadot, the Hollywood actress, on a Sunday morning. I made a cup of tea and it was about half six, seven in the morning,’ the pest control business owner recalled.

‘I walked outside and we were told Wonder Woman was next door and I thought she was going to be 70, 80 years of age, because I was thinking of someone like the old Wonder Woman.’

Standing outside with his tea at seven o’clock on a Sunday morning, Mark turned to the woman next door and said to her: ‘You alright, how’re you doing?’

He admitted that he ‘thought she was a cleaner or something’, until one of the house producers revealed who she was, showing him a picture of her on their phone.

“I was like, oh my god, I was just speaking to her normally, I thought she was a cleaner. So yeah, it was pretty surreal,’ he added.

Mark speculated that Gal – who was in London filming the Netflix movie Heart of Stone with Jamie Dornan in May last year – might not have been best pleased by the noise he and the other Apprentice candidates created very early in the morning when they sped out the door to the cars for tasks.

He explained that they would run outside on the gravel at around four or five in the early hours, and would do the shot ‘a few times’.

When they were doing so, they would sometimes notice the light going on at Gal’s house when they were trying to nail a take – leading them to assume that she was perturbed by the noise.

‘I didn’t know who she was to be fair and I was just sort of chatting away,’ Mark said about their nonchalant conversation, outlining how The Apprentice 2023 was filmed around April and May.

‘I thought she looked like a normal person,’ he added, having never watched her in her famous DC role.

The Apprentice returns next Thursday at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
