Kim Kardashian ‘suffered for fashion’ at D&G Milan show but ‘should have covered her wrinkly knees’, expert says

KIM Kardashian appeared jaded as she engineered four outfit changes in 24 hours for D&G at Milan Fashion Week, a stylist has said.

And while she thinks the 42-year-old’s clothes generally suited her glam style, the Italian fashion house mistakenly forgot to conceal the saggy skin on her knees.

Milan Fashion Week is one of the most high-profile events on the fashion industry calendar and for style influencers like Kim Kardashian, this year was no exception.

As the global fashion icon jetted into Italy and set to work at the event on Saturday, February 25, this time around as the face of their Spring 2023 campaign Kim was representing Dolce & Gabbana.

That day, the 42-year-old reality star was seen wearing a jaw-dropping four different eye-catching outfits, each custom-made for her by the high-end Italian fashion house.

Within 24 hours Kim was snapped at the D&G runway show in a figure-hugging shimmering red vintage bodycon two-piece, in which she struggled to walk up the stairs.

A cream leather two-piece followed, adorned with plenty of buckles.

This was worn during her visit to the exclusive D&G Milan store and while the outfit showed off her taut midriff and tanned legs, Kim’s knees looked visibly wrinkled.

Kim’s long day of expensive fashion swaps ended with a further two outfit changes.

This was at the glam and star-studded private D&G afterparty, which she attended arm-in-arm alongside the brand’s designers, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.

It was here that Kim opted for two snakeskin numbers in contrasting colors.

Both dresses showed off her tiny waistline and hips and accentuated Kim’s trim figure.

In an exclusive interview, image consultant Tavia Sharp told The U.S. Sun: “By the time Kim was wearing the red snakeskin dress at the evening afterparty, you could tell she was bored.

“She was over it.

“The number of dress changes was saturating and as good as most of the dresses looked on her, I don’t think it was necessary to do all four of the outfits.

“The dresses were also really difficult for her to walk in and in the high heels.

“Kim does suffer for fashion and has done in the past at the Met Ball.

“Also D&G or her stylist probably should’ve had her wearing tights with the cream buckle daytime two-piece outfit.

“It’s interesting that they missed this as they could’ve put her in a sheer tight that would’ve covered up those knee wrinkles.

“I don’t really see Kim wearing outfits that show her legs off much anymore, so that outfit was the one that didn’t work fully.”

Kim has publicly joined forces with D&G over the recent months and on several key fashion projects.

D&G even sponsored Kim’s sister Kourtney’s luxury Portofino wedding, and now Kim is collaborating with the designer for their SS 2023 collection.

By September 2022, Kim had also curated her own line from her own D&G archives.

Ciao Kim debuted on the runway during Milan’s fall fashion week and at the SS 2023 D&G show.

“During this fashion week I think the end result was a good representation of her look and her style, ” notes Tavia who has dressed Chrissy Teigan and Drake.

‘She also represents the brand fully and did her job.

“Kim’s very much partnered with D&G now and is in their campaign ads as well obviously.

“I’m sure they’re paying her a lot of money to change clothes four times during one day.

“They would’ve given her the deal and told her that she had to wear these four different looks.

“It’s also common for her to wear things that she can’t walk in such as the Marilyn Monroe dress at the Met Ball.

“They are uncomfortable but she’s literally the model and she has to wear them for the brand.

“It’s her job and because of her status. Kim has to keep it all up no matter what.

“She did look tired at the end and with her age and with four kids, she probably just wants to be at home with them instead.

“When these influencers and reality stars get to a certain age they just can’t keep it up anymore.

“It’d be interesting to see what the next few years bring Kim as she ages.”
