Love Island viewers obsessed with Kai Fagan’s ‘unbothered’ attitude as he refuses to deem Olivia Hawkins worthy of a pie to the face-Emily Bashforth-Entertainment – Metro

Love Island viewers were all waiting for Kai Fagan to pie Olivia Hawkins… but the moment never came.

In the classic Snog, Marry, Pie game, Islanders were tasked with choosing a guy or girl to smooch, one to propose to, and another to, yep, shove a cream pie in the face of.

And when Kai’s turn was up, everyone was counting on him using his pie on one person in particular.

There’s no denying that him and Olivia have had a turbulent relationship in the South African villa.

For those of you who need a refresher, Kai and Olivia were getting to know each other after he ended things with Tanyel Revan – but in typical Casa Amor fashion, things didn’t stay rosy for long.

After the new bombshells were introduced, things quickly went south for Kai and Olivia, as teacher Kai coupled up with Sanam Harrinanan, while Olivia chose Maxwell Samuda.

But, it was Tanya Menhenga who got it instead! (Picture: ITV)

Olivia claimed he only switched to ‘stay safe’ – even though she forgot his name while chatting to the new bombshells – and since returning to the main villa, the former couple haven’t stopped arguing.

So when it came to dishing out pies loaded with cream, and especially days after Movie Night’s drama when Olivia’s secret gossiping sessions were exposed, even the other guys were sure Liv was the one getting a face full.

Olivia herself was expecting to get her face messy, as she said while Kai walked along with the pie: ‘It’s definitely me.’

However, it seems Kai is so indifferent to Olivia now, that he didn’t even deem her worthy of a pie in the face!

Instead, he chose to pie Tanya Menhenga, which some viewers reckon was a ‘cop out.’

‘Kai I was counting on you to pie Olivia’, one person tweeted.

Another raged: ‘KAI I WAS TRUSTING YOU TO PIE OLIVIA’.

But, plenty of others seemed to completely understand the logic behind Kai’s pie, as they reckoned they could’ve predicted the fall-out if he did pie Olivia.

‘Kai is so done with Olivia, doesn’t even want to deal with the drama of pie-ing her’, one person tweeted.

‘LOL Kai doesn’t want any problems with Olivia anymore, he’s tired of the drama that he’s not even acknowledging her anymore,’ another joked.

‘Kai didn’t pie Olivia because he literally doesn’t care about her’, one viewer tweeted.

But, Olivia – who chose to marry Shaq Muhammad for how well he treats Tanya – did get the revenge she wanted, as there was no way she was wasting her pie on any other guy.

‘I pied you because you weren’t man enough to apologise,’ she told Kai after shoving the cream firmly into his face.

Of course, she was referring to a recent altercation in which the two failed to ‘squash the beef’ they had created, resulting in Kai simply walking away and viewers cheering his ‘unbothered’ attitude.

So, do we reckon it’s all finally water under the bridge now Olivia’s been able to let her feelings out via pie, and Kai’s shown that he’s firmly moved on?

Time will tell…
