WWE legend Brock Lesnar has accepted the challenge and will face Omos at WrestleMania 39.

The Beast Incarnate’s path to the huge doubleheader in Hollywood could have gone in a number of directions, particularly after his last match with Bobby Lashley ended in such a contentious way, but now he’s set to fight the Nigerian Giant.

Omos and his manager MVP had laid down the challenge last week, and on Monday night they got their answer.

MVP hadn’t made it out to introduce his VIP Lounge talk show before Brock hit the ring first, keen to chat about the proposed match.

He admitted he was interested in making money and urged the former United States Champion to deliver a good pitch to convince him to face his colossal client on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

He played down Brock’s chances against someone that big, insisting while he can throw around anyone else on the roster, Omos is much taller task.

Lesnar liked what he heard and called on MVP to share a drink with him and shake on it to make things official, but things took a turn for MVP, who had a swig of some White Lightning from Brock’s hip flask and spat the drink out all over the former world champion.

He tried to mop it up, but Brock put the flask back in his jacket pocket, blew his nose on MVP’s handkerchief and dropped him with a huge F-5.

The announcement has left fans split, with some viewers admitting they wanted to see Brock face Bobby Lashley instead of a match against Omos, who hasn’t been featured prominently on WWE TV for a while.

However, others are excited for the spectacle, with one fan commenting on YouTube: ‘Brock Lesnar F5’d Big Show, Mark Henry, and now he’s going to F5 Omos at WrestleMania.’

‘MVP hyping it up looking forward to it,’ added another, while a third person said: ‘Lmao this segment was good and hilarious and i dont like this match but i just wanna see brock lift omos (sic)’

WWE Raw airs Monday nights at 1am on BT Sport.
