I did a £1K SKIMS haul – half of it gave me a cameltoe in seconds… safe to say a tonne is going back

AN INFLUENCER who forked out over £1,000 on SKIMS clothing has slammed the pieces as “nothing to write home about”.

Claire Stone was left miffed when most of the items gave her a cameltoe.

The 22-year-old splurged on over 20 items but revealed she was going to return most of them after being disappointed.

SKIMS is reality star Kim Kardashian’s luxury clothing brand that places an emphasis on body positivity started out as a shape wear line in 2019.

Fitness fanatic Claire recorded herself trying on the items with candid reviews and posted it on YouTube.

The first item was a Steel Blue skirt and crop top set that Claire called “cute” but questioned where it would be appropriate to wear.

In the same “vintage, kind of washed” colour, she got a trousers and tank top set.

The Los Angeles, US-based influencer said: “They’re definitely curve hugging and figure flattering.

“However, my one gripe with them is: why is there a front seam?

“It’s 2023, why are we still designing clothes that go up the cooch?”

“I don’t understand, somebody explain that.

“I know Miss Kim, you know better than that.

“I’m a little disappointed because this will wiggle up and give some camel toe.”

The fifth item Claire tried on was a sweatshirt that she rated 7/10.

At this point of the video, she complained that “nothing was wowwing her yet”.

Claire then tried on a pair of SKIMS’ outdoor style trousers with a cropped T-shirt.

However, this took the review to new depths of disapproval.

The fitness guru stated: “The pants? I hate.

“So let’s just get that out of the way.

“I don’t understand why they’re so baggy in the crotch… in an XXS, like what?”

She added that they were “poorly designed” but at least the fabric was “comfy”.

Claire also bought a host of stuff in SKIMS’ Ash colour, which is a washed black.

She grabbed a catsuit, tracksuit bottoms, cropped T-shirt, hoodie and fleece shorts in the colour.

However, not all of the Ash items matched as some had acid-wash finishes while others had a vintage finish.

Claire snubbed most of them but noted that the tracksuit bottoms were comfy and worth the money.

The first and only top-rate item of Claire’s haul was a black long sleeve crop top, which she gave 10/10.

She further reviewed cropped T-shirts in pink, white and a beige called Desert, with each one being dubbed “okay”.

The bike shorts to match the beige cropped tee weren’t a hit due to a previously mentioned gripe – they had a front seam and caused cameltoe.

Claire also tried on a range of Desert items – including a square neck top, leggings and an oversized sweatshirt.

She concluded at the end of her video: “So the verdict, don’t get those cargo pants because… what?”

The fitness fanatic said she doesn’t recommend the leggings while signalling to the cameltoe they gave her but was a fan of two of the T-shirts she tried on.

She continued: “Otherwise, nothing to write home about.

“I’m a little disappointed with this collection.

“I’m clearly going to return most of it.”
