Love Island viewers questioned why Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall’s had their final date in the middle of the river.
We’re days away from Monday’s [March 13] grand finale, and the couples are determined to make the most of their time in the South African villa.
During Thursday’s episode, Lana and Ron, Samie Elishi and Tom Clare and Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga made their feelings known for each other while on some pretty lavish dates.
Lana, 25 and Ron, also 25, were first up with a breakfast date on a raised platform in the middle of the water where they sat barefoot in the water.
While the flowers surrounding them made a beautiful aesthetic, fans had mixed reactions over the location.
One person wrote: ‘Wtf? Tom gets to drive Samie in a vintage Ferrari and Ron and Lana have to sit in a swamp? Make it make sense.’

A third joked: ‘Ain’t no way they gave Ron and Lana a table in a Lake with some pringles and Sammie and Tom are getting a whole palace.’
Elsewhere, it was a night of declaration as Samie struggled to contain her shock as Tom revealed that he was ‘falling in love’ with her.
