Ariana DeBose was a total fan-girl on meeting acting legend Morgan Freeman at Sunday night’s Oscars ceremony in Los Angeles.
The 32-year-old Oscar winner shared the adorable meeting on her social media after the iconic event.
In the footage, the two stars could be seen crossing paths with each other while they were being interviewed backstage for Live with Kelly and Ryan.
She posted the clip along with the caption: ‘Wholesome moments only. It was an honor to meet you sir @morganfreeman! [sic]’.
They shook hands and the 85-year-old actor playfully mimicked Ariana’s reaction as she gasped during the chance encounter.
She could be heard spluttering: ‘No, I just really respect and love you a lot, sir and my name’s Ariana, and it’s a pleasure to meet you’.

Morgan responded with: ‘How do you do, Ariana?’ and followed up by asking her how to spell her name.
Ariana then said: ‘And I’m gonna get out the way so you can talk to our good friends. You have a nice day’, before walking in the other direction.
Just before she disappeared, Morgan called after her: ‘So far, so good’, to which she offered: ‘It’s not too shabs, right?’

Directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, the multiverse sci-fi epic claimed seven prizes including three acting gongs, best directing and best picture, the biggest of the night.
It was a disappointing evening for Irish talent with The Banshees Of Inisherin going home empty-handed despite its nine nominations.
Michelle claimed the Oscar for best leading actress, fending off competition from two-time Oscar winner Cate Blanchett to become the first woman from an Asian background to win the prize.
Taking to the stage, she said: ‘For all the little boys and girls who look like me, this is a beacon of hope and possibilities.
‘Dream big, dreams do come true. Ladies, never let anyone tell you you are past your prime’.
