Kaz Crossley sheds tears over alopecia as she reveals she was ‘hit hard’ by hair loss amid return to UK-Lucy Norris-Entertainment – Metro

Former Love Island contestant Kaz Crossley opened up about her struggles with alopecia and revealed it had recently been reducing her to tears.

The 28-year-old reality star shared a series of selfies on Instagram with an update on her hair loss that she first claimed happened due to stress earlier this month. 

Posing bare-faced in a bath towel, Kaz admitted she was worried about returning to the UK and having to face her ‘real life’ again. 

Alongside the gallery of pictures, she penned a lengthy caption explaining her emotions to her social media followers.

It read: ‘Hey guys! After I took this pic last night I had a good cry. Sometimes you will have days where you don’t feel strong, and that’s okay – it’s so important to let it out! 

‘I think the mixture of realising I’m losing more hair, mixed with the fact I will be heading back to the uk (real life) hit me hard.

‘Anyone going through the same right now I reaaaally feel you! The insecurity of people noticing it and the need to hide it, the worry if it’ll get worse and the constant reminder of such a difficult time every time I look in the mirror. 

‘Trust me I feel anyone else dealing with this and we will get through it together! Don’t let these thoughts take over for too long. 

‘We are too blessed to be stressed let it out and keep going. You’ve got this #alopeciaareata #alopeciaawareness [sic]’.

Fans were quick to offer the famous face some words of support and encouragement in the comment section. 

Fellow Love Islander Ellie Brown said: ‘Still the most beautiful’. 

A supporter wrote: ‘Well done for sharing Kaz looking beaut as ever [sic]’. 

‘The universe speaks through you and I really needed to hear this today thank you,’ another typed under the star’s post.

Kaz first revealed she was suffering from hair loss shortly after she was detained at Abu Dhabi airport while in transit to Thailand.

The star spent several nights in a jail cell, due to a leaked video from 2020 which showed her snorting a white substance in Dubai.
