A member of One Direction heading to the White House wasn’t on our bingo card for St. Patrick’s Day, but we love to see it.

Yes, Niall Horan spent his March 17 just casually bonding with President Joe Biden, as you do.

The Irish singer and songwriter, 29, performed for a room of politicians and very important folk, looking as dapper as ever in a white shirt and black waistcoat.

All smiles, Niall showcased his vocal talents with his acoustic guitar and two backing musicians, sitting on a podium with both American and Irish flags behind him.

The 1D star also shared a sweet video with President Biden, 80, to Instagram, and they seemed to get along like a house on fire!

‘Hi, guys. It’s me. I just wanna wish you a very happy St. Patrick’s Day from the White House, from me!’

The 46th US President then popped his head into the frame.

‘And me too! I’m here at the White House, I hang out here once in a while,’ President Biden laughed.

‘I’m glad he’s here, I’m glad he’s here,’ he praised Niall, placing an arm around him and patting him on the shoulder.

How precious!

Niall performed his latest single, Heaven, for the President and his guests, which is the lead track from his upcoming album The Show.

And despite admitting he was super ‘scared’ for the prestigious gig, Niall certainly didn’t show it.

In a video posted to Twitter, he laughed with the small crowd: ‘I’m not nervous, you are.

‘I don’t think I’ve ever been so scared in my whole entire life.’

The Slow Hands hitmaker earned plenty of laughs from the room, however, having instantly won everyone over with his Irish charm.

Ahead of his White House visit, Niall said it was an ‘honour’ to be invited.

Sharing the news on Twitter a day earlier, he wrote: ‘It’s an honour to be invited and represent my country. Looking forward to performing and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at the White House tomorrow’.

Of course, this wasn’t the first time a high-profile star has visited the President’s abode, and it surely won’t be the last.
