There are some amazing custom islands to explore in Fortnite, including recreation of a Call Of Duty map and the OG Fortnite island.
Fortnite Creative has always been a fan favourite feature, offering you the ability to create your own games within the game… a Fortnite inception of kinds.
From Squid Game-inspired challenges to classic Call Of Duty maps, there are numerous player-made islands you can explore, if you’re already bored of the new Mega City region.
The Unreal Editor for Fortnite has only been out for a few hours now but still, there are already some stunning new islands, ranging from escape rooms to a sprawling forest.
As usual, to access custom made islands on Fortnite, you’ll need their specific code, unless you want to spend ages searching for them on the Creative page.
So, here’s a list of some of the most impressive islands made in Creative 2.0 so far, along with their island codes:
Forest Guardian: 0348-4483-3263
A huge dragon is lurking on this island (pic: Epic Games)
After a brief sneak peek of the Forest Guardian island during the reveal trailer for Unreal Editor for Fortnite, it’s now time to jump in it and explore its incredibly detailed environment.
You’ll find yourself running around in what seems like a never-ending forest, where a huge dragon awaits you. The epic battle with the beast truly showcases the scale of capabilities of the new technology added to Fortnite.
The Space Inside: 9836-7381-5978
Unlucky for you there’s no garbage chutes to escape this island (pic: Epic Games)
This island was also briefly showcased in the reveal video for Creative 2.0, where a character is seen running through a sci-fi looking corridor.
However, the space-themed room is only a part of the island, as you’ll get to navigate a series of themed rooms, filled with tough puzzles and obstacles.
If you love escape rooms then you won’t want to miss out on The Space Inside, which also makes full use of the Unreal Editor’s lighting effects.
Deserted Domination: 8035-1519-2959
Does this look familiar? (pic: Epic Games)
If Deserted Domination feels familiar, it’s likely because it looks like it’s straight out of Call Of Duty. You’ll be required to seize and maintain possession of three flags from the opposing team in a barren desert environment.
With its impressive lifelike graphics and diverse range of weapon options, this island is perfect if you’re seeking an intense military experience that incorporates the trademark gun mechanics of Fortnite.
Gemstone Tycoon: 6265-7588-5080
A different kind of simulator (pic: Epic Games)
Braking away from frantic, action-packed islands, Gemstone Tycoon could easily serve as a Fortnite and Bejeweled crossover.
Although you won’t need to tile match any gems on this island, as the manager of a gemstone factory, you have the power to enhance machinery and build new areas.
While it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, Gemstone Tycoon definitely offers a calming diversion from the norm.
The Arcade: 3638-6410-4991
Droopy Flop, Flappy Bird, what’s the difference? (pic: Epic Games)
Keeping up with retro revival trends, this island allows you to travel back in time and experience a very analogue aesthetic in Fortnite.
It’s called Droopy Flop and it evidently takes inspiration by Flappy Bird, although thankfully it’s not quite that frustrating to play and there are lots of different selectable characters.

Pirate Adventure: 2810-0903-5967
Ahoy matey! (pic: Epic Games)
If you’re looking to live out your wildest pirate fantasies, then Creative 2.0 has got you covered with the Pirate Adventure.
Sail the seven seas, plunder shiny treasure and take on daring quests and foes. It looks very similar to Sea Of Thieves, but that’s clearly on purpose and if anything the graphics are better.
OG Fortnite map: 2179-7822-3395
Feels like not one day has passed (pic: Epic Games)
Last but not least, this island enables you to take a Fortnite history lesson and explore the OG Chapter 1 map.
You can relive the good ol’ days of Tilted Towers and other long-lost areas with a pickaxe in your arm, and with more stuff to come in the future.
Keep in mind that this island is still being developed, but the nostalgia payoff is worth it even if it’s not exactly the same as you remember it (yet).
