Lionel Richie can no longer go All Night Long and now it’s just a ‘fierce 15 minutes’-Ruth Lawes-Entertainment – Metro

Lionel Richie has made a candid confession about his sex life it turns out it isn’t quite Endless Love.

The Hello hitmaker, 73, who is in a long-term relationship with Lisa Parigi, 33, got frank while appearing on The View, along with his fellow American Idol judges, Katy Perry, 38, and Luke Bryan, 46.

While discussing the juggernaut series, which recently took viewers by surprise when Eurthymics star Dave Stewart accompanied his daughter to an audition, the subject turned to his 1983 hit All Night Long.

Sarah Haines, who was co-hosting the chat show alongside the likes of Whoopi Goldberg, couldn’t resist asking the Commodores star about the iconic tune’s ‘backstory.’

Lionel replied: ‘When I wrote All Night Long, it was truly all night long. Now my ‘all night long’ is down to a fierce 15 minutes. But, don’t worry, we’ll talk about that later.’

Roar singer Katy then chimed in saying: ‘Fifteen minutes? That’s long, bud,’ prompting the Dancing on the Ceiling singer to reply: ‘And don’t you forget that, alright?’

Lionel has previously opened up about his romance with Lisa, telling People she made him ‘feel safe.’

He continued: ‘I’m a hopeless romantic. She’s extremely beautiful, but most importantly she’s smart and helps me deal with my crazy world.

‘At this time in my life when you can be so jaded about things, Lisa kind of makes everything feel a bit safe.’

Prior to meeting Lisa, the Easy singer was married to his second wife Diane Alexander from 1995 until 2004.

The Three Times a Lady performer’s first marriage was to his college sweetheart, Brenda Harvey, with the former couple going on to adopt Nicole Richie, 41.
