Brooke Shields brings lookalike daughter Grier Henchy to Pretty Baby premiere-Pierra Willix-Entertainment – Metro
Grier said she was having a ‘proud daughter moment.’

Brooke Shields has premiered her documentary Pretty Baby with daughter Grier Henchy by her side.
The American actress and model, 57, was just 11 months old when her career began, modelling at first before making the transition to acting.
In 1978, when she was 12 years old, Shields played a child prostitute in the controversial film Pretty Baby.
It is the title of this project that she’s used to name her new documentary, which explores the sexual objectification she endured as a child actor.
Told over two-parts, Shields speaks about her early experiences in Hollywood, which also included her starring role in 1980’s The Blue Lagoon.
On Wednesday night, the documentary premiered in New York City, with Shields’ husband Chris Henchy, 59, and their youngest daughter Grier, 16, also in attendance.

On the red carpet, Shields posed with her husband and their teenage daughter, who is also currently working as a model.
During the screening Grier shared a photo of her mum on stage during a Q+A and said she was having a ‘proud daughter moment’.
However, in clips for the documentary that have already been released, Shields has said she would never let her own children participate in the ‘pornography’ she did.

In Pretty Baby Shields was forced to kiss co-star Keith Carradine, then 27.
Her mother, Teri Shields, reportedly stood and watched the scene happen, while Carradine assured the child star it was all ‘make-believe’.
‘I don’t know why she thought it was all right. I don’t know,’ Shields said.
The scene shows her other daughter Rowan, 19, describing her mum’s childhood career as ‘child pornography’.
‘It’s child pornography! Would you have let us [do that] at the age of 11?’ she asks Shields, who tearfully replied ‘no’.
At just 10, Shields also posed nude for Playboy.

Her documentary is directed by Lana Wilson, who helmed Taylor Swift’s 2020 film Miss Americana.
At the premiere Shields was also supported by friends including Mariska Hargitay and Debra Messing.
Pretty Baby also sees Shields detail the time she was raped shortly after graduation from college.

After leaving Princeton University in 1987, she was struggling to re-enter Hollywood and agreed to a meeting with a man who claimed to want to discuss potential projects.
However after their dinner meeting, he mentioned he could help get her a cab, but after waiting in his hotel room, the man attacked and raped Shields.
Brooke Shields: Pretty Baby premieres on April 3 on Hulu and will be available to stream Disney Plus in the UK.
