Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix shot scenes for Joker sequel Folie à Deux in the Bronx on Sunday and wasted no time helping a crew member after they took a tumble on the borough’s iconic staircase.
Gaga, who stars as Harley Quinn in the follow-up to 2019’s critically acclaimed Joker, was in full costume, as was Joaquin, who plays the DC flick’s titular character.
Both A-listers, 37 and 48 respectively, rushed to the crew member’s aid after he tripped over a railing.
Other members of the crew looked on as Joaquin appeared to try and haul the man – whose feet were in the air – back over the railings.
Gaga’s kind gesture comes almost a month after she was seen rushing to help a photographer who fell over on the red carpet at this year’s Oscars.
In a video captured by People magazine, the crooner ran over to make sure that the photographer was unharmed.

Once reassured that he was back up on his feet, Gaga – real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta – continued into the ceremony.
It was announced last summer that the hitmaker would star opposite Joaquin in Folie à Deux.

Although Quinn didn’t appear in the 2019 original opposite the actor – who won an Oscar for his efforts – she was last portrayed by Margot Robbie in Birds of Prey and The Suicide Squad.
Gaga was also seen filming on the staircase – now dubbed ‘The Joker Stairs’ – on Saturday.
She was accompanied by director Todd Phillips as they discussed a scene on the street steps connecting Shakespeare and Anderson avenues at West 167th Street in Highbridge.

Gaga was photographed in full costume last month when she filmed in a red jacket, leather mini-skirt and a black and white patterned corset with matching black mesh tights – a glaring ode to the famous Batman villain’s favourite diamond pattern.
Joker: Folie à Deux will release in cinemas on October 4, 2024.
