Woman takes drastic action after she’s sent the wrong boots for her birthday – & trolls say her DIY look is a total fail
A SAVVY fashionista was savaged after trolls insisted her DIY shoe transformation was an utter flop.
Online shopping can be a godsend – when it goes right. But unfortunately, one style enthusiast, Mani (@mademanii), from New York, the US, got sent the wrong pair of boots.

However, with only two days left before her birthday celebrations, Mani did not have enough time to fork out for a new pair.
Instead, the trendy fashion fan came up with a crafty solution – to spray paint the heeled boots, so they’d match her outfit better.
Armed with a pair of rubber gloves and newspaper, the DIY fanatic grabbed a can of paint in the shade Almond and transformed the footwear.
Pleased with the final outcome, she then shared the photos on TikTok, urging fellow fashionistas to not sleep on spray paint for last minute style fixes.
”They came out perfect,” Mani reckoned in the caption of the video.
But whilst Mani may have been in love with her DIY booties, people on social media were of a different opinion.
Dozens flocked to comments in sheer horror, with one writing: ”That was gods sigh to leave it original [sic].”
”A mess, the first was better,” a second agreed.
”The original literally matched the dress perfectly,” someone else reckoned.
Luckily, amidst all the hate was also some support, as one said: ”Guys, she wanted white boots and she ate.

Speaking of heely bad fails, one woman thought she had nabbed a bargain with her 70p shoes from TK Maxx – but trolls were far from impressed.
Martine Nicholson, from Glasgow, took to Facebook to show off her steal – a pair of heeled sandals she had picked up from the high-street retailer for less than a pound.
Beyond pleased with the find, the mum-of-two shared a snap of the new shoes on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group.
”Nice little bargain today in tk maxx £0.70,” the trendy fashionista wrote in the caption next to the two images.
The footwear in question was a pair of black heeled sandals with a gold buckle detailing on the side that had initially been going for a whopping £105.
At first, TK Maxx had put a sticker that said £70, but over time the price dropped from £1.70 to just 70p.
Of course, Martine is not one to sleep on a good deal so she immediately bagged it.
But whilst she may have loved the find, which she stumbled upon in the clearance section, people on social media insisted the mum had wasted her money.
Seeing the state of the shoes, particularly the sole underneath, some reckoned they had been worn for quite some time.
One person wrote: ”Someone took off their shoes at TK max n left with a new pair surely.”
Another agreed, adding: ”They’re defo worn and returned. That scuffing is more than shop wear.”
”They look like someones [sic] old shoes and they have put a sticker on it sorry to say but they look really worn,” a third commented.
