Ed Sheeran shocked fans after he was spotted rocking a clean shave amid filming for his latest music video.
The 32-year-old was in London on Thursday exploring the city’s centre with a member of the video’s production crew.
Almost, unrecognisable, the Bloodstream hitmaker was a sight to be seen as he sported a clean shaven jaw line, worlds away from his usual trimmed beard.
The star and his crew had taken over a nearby pub and had transformed the watering hole into Bertie’s Diner for the music video – supposedly as an attempt to nod to Ed’s own Notting Hill pub Bertie Blossoms.
He stayed true to his style and dressed in a casual ensemble for the day of filming that included a pair of navy trousers and a light blue jumper.
The celebrity sighting came after the star enjoyed massive success with his 14th UK number one single – Eyes Closed that he released on Friday.

His latest musical efforts were part of his upcoming album Subtract and overthrew Miley Cyrus’ Flowers to end her 10-week chart reign.
Ed updated fans on his feelings following the positive reaction to his new track and wrote a message to them on Instagram.
He said he was ‘over the bl***y moon’ that his fans had ‘connected’ so well with his new song.
Alongside a video of himself holding his chart-topper trophy, the star penned the caption: ‘Fourteenth #1 in the U.K. I never, ever take this for granted this far into my career. Thank you for everyone who’s been connecting to Eyes Closed. Can’t wait for you to hear Subtract x [sic]’.

The latest album to hit the shelves for Ed is due to be released on May 6 and is the final in his decade-long mathematical series.
His other collections in the themed series include 2021’s Equals, 2017’s Divide, 2014’s Multiply and Plus, released in 2011.
Ed revealed ahead of his next release: ‘This album is purely that. It’s opening the trapdoor into my soul.
