Ken Bruce’s pop music quiz PopMaster is officially being made into a TV show, Channel 4 has announced.

Following the 72-year-old’s transition to Greatest Hits Radio after 40 years at the BBC, the radio presenter is now making a move to the small screen.

In an announcement posted on Twitter, Channel 4 revealed: ‘It’s true! @RealKenBruce will be heading to TV soon as the iconic music quiz PopMaster heads to More 4.’

When it was revealed that Ken was leaving BBC Radio 2, there were concerns among fans about what would happen to his popular PopMaster segment.

The quiz has been going for over 20 years, having first been launched as part of his weekday morning Ken Bruce Show on BBC Radio 2 in 1998.

Upon Ken’s move to Greatest Hits Radio, he confirmed that PopMaster would be going with him.
