Sir Michael Caine has been spotted using a walking frame to get around after undergoing back surgery last year.
The 90-year-old actor, who celebrated the milestone birthday last month, has been soaking up the sun on holiday in Barbados with his wife Shakira, 76, and he was seen out and about over Easter weekend.
Sir Michael had some help from friends as he was seen without his trusty walking stick, which he has been using since suffering a nasty fall and breaking his ankle in 2018.
He was using the walker to get around, and appeared relaxed as he stepped out in navy shorts and a short sleeved blue shirt.
In another photo, he could be seen walking by himself with the frame.
At another point, the Italian Job star was seen without his stick or walking frame, moving with the help of his friends.

He has been resting after undergoing major surgery last year, with his wife telling the Daily Mail last March that he had spinal stenosis, which is a condition that narrows the spinal canal and can result in back and leg pain.
‘He had a back operation quite recently,’ she said, before hailing him as a ‘strong man’ and noting he was doing ‘great’ as he recovered from the operation.

She added: ‘The operation was fantastic. He’ll be up and dancing again soon.’
In October 2021, the legendary actor said that his next project will be his last role, but shut down speculation that he is retiring.
He quipped: ‘There’s not exactly scripts pouring in for a leading man that’s 88, you know?’

Opening up about his health and new career as a writer, he revealed that his flick, Best Sellers, will very likely be his last film.
‘I got this alcoholic part and, funnily enough, it has turned out to be my last part, really,’ he said. ‘Because I haven’t worked for two years and I have a spine problem which affects my legs so I can’t walk very well.
‘And I also wrote a book – a couple of books – which were published and were successful. I’m now not an actor, I’m a writer, which is lovely because, as an actor, you have to get up at half past six in the morning and go to a studio.
‘As a writer, you start writing without leaving the bed!’

Despite reports, The Wrap confirmed with Sir Michael’s representatives that he’s ‘not fully retiring’, and he went onto appear in Czech action historical drama film Medieval, while he will also star in The Great Escaper.
Fans are hoping he could reprise his role as Arthur Tressler in Now You See Me 3, although filmmaker Ruben Fleischer has only mentioned Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson in relation to the sequel.
