Parents are raging over Primark’s latest £6 mum and daughter matching dresses loved by Stacey Solomon

PARENTS have slammed Primark for not catering to all mums with their latest spring collection.

The matching mum and daughter dresses are pretty cute and come in a few different floral designs, but they missed one important thing and it’s left mums raging.

Although shoppers loved the £6 matching dresses, some parents were annoyed there were no options for mums with sons.

Stacey Solomon recently shared a snap of her wearing the matching dresses with her daughters on holiday, and there’s no denying they look adorable in their twinning outfits but the rest of her brood were left to wear something else.

The controversy began when Primark shared a video showing off the dresses on TikTok, and parents weren’t happy about the lack of options.

The clip was posted alongside the caption: “Who is ready to twin with their little ones this weekend?”

It showed off two matching dresses on the mannequins in the shop, as well as other dresses in the same pattern in different sizes for babies, toddlers and tweens.

The video has amassed over 498.9k views, but some viewers took their fury out in the comment section.

One wrote: “Some mums have boys, believe it or not. Are we just no allowed to matchy match.”

“Mum of boys would love it if Primark did a collection where you could match with your little men in your life,” a second agreed.

And another wrote: “We want to match our boys too! Come on now, my boy would rock that print in a pair of shorts.”

“What about floral shorts too? Us boy mums are feeling seriously neglected right now,” someone else commented.

Primark cleared up the confusion surrounding the Spring range, explaining that they’ve sold matching clothes for every member of the family in the past.

“We regularly have matching ranges for the entire family, including our famous Christmas fam jams and our Amalfi lemon range last summer,” a spokesperson told Tyla

They added: “Keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming summer family collection, due in stores in a couple of months!”
