Never Have I Ever season 4 trailer teases new romance for Devi’s final outing-Stella Akinwumi-Entertainment – Metro

Never Have I Ever is back for one last time and we’re not prepared to say goodbye to  Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) and the squad.

The last three seasons followed the teen navigating high school, her relationship with her mum and her burning love for Paxton Hall-Yoshida (Darren Barnet), and things finally fell into place, well until they broke up last season.

Although the final chapter sees Devi and her besties Fabiola (Lee Rodriguez) and Eleanor (Ramona Young) getting ready to bid farewell to Sherman Oaks, we know by now that wherever Devi goes, the drama follows.

The show’s faithful narrator and former tennis player John McEnroe promise that the teens are now ‘ready for anything.’

On top of the inevitable will they/won’t they with Ben Gross (Jaren Lewison) and Paxton, it looks like season four will bring a new boy into Devi’s life.

Prom and graduation also take centre stage, and it looks like the final few episodes are set to be emotional as the girls try on their cap and gowns and head to their final prom.

The promo also confirmed when the fourth instalment will drop, and fans can binge Devi’s final outing on Thursday June 8.

Producer Mindy Kaling has previously shared how shocked she was by the massive success of the first series, which dropped two years ago.

‘I’m truly in shock,’ Mindy wrote on Instagram at the time. ‘ I can’t believe that our show about a complicated little Indian family has been seen by this many people.

‘The entire cast and crew are so grateful to you for making us #1 around the world on Netflix. We love you guys! Thank you!’

Elsewhere, Maitreyi gushed about producer Mindy Kaling, saying: ‘I mean, she’s amazing. I love working with her so much. She is so brilliant.’

She continued: ‘She’s so smart, so talented, but also just such a good human being.

‘I vibe with her like a lot. Just our personalities, we get along really well.

‘And she’s the kind of person that I could just tell anything to without feeling judged or worried.

‘She is truly the bomb.’

Never Have I Ever season 4 premieres on Thursday June 8 on Netflix.
