I’m a fashion whizz and have a life hack to stop your feet from sliding forward in heels, it’s a total game changer

A WOMAN has revealed the genius way she stops her feet from sliding forward in heels on a night out.

We all know the pain of buying a pair of gorgeous shoes only to find they’re so uncomfortable after just an hour of wearing them.

And while trainers are a little easier on the feet, wearing heels is an entirely different type of pain many of us deal with.

Luckily, beauty and fashion whizz Jaimie has discovered a clever way to prevent feet from sliding forward and becoming uncomfortable in heels.

“Life hack for the girls,” the TikTok user said at the start of her minute-long clip.

Dressed in a black crop top with a pair of grey jogging bottoms, the brunette beauty showed a clear-strapped slide-on heel to viewers as she explained her trick.

“Grab your shoes right, for example, I’m wearing these tonight,” she continued. “And my feet slide forward in these obviously because they’re plastic.”

“Buy yourself some insoles from Boots,” she then shared, holding up one of the insoles, which can be bought for just £13.

@jamieatk then instructed viewers to cut the insoles to your size, ready to be glued into the heels.

“Measure them up to make sure that they fit,” she went on, demonstrating this with the insole in her hands.

“Next step is to hold it in place and get your toe in there to see if it fits nicely.”

Jaimie then produced a bottle of nail glue and explained that this is how she secures the insole onto the heel.

“Final step is to get your nail glue. I got mine from Boots, it was like £2.50,” she said. “And you’re going to nail glue your insoles so it doesn’t go anywhere.”

Trying the heels on with the insoles in place, she said they were “well comfy”.

“My toes are not sliding anywhere,” she said. “What a game changer.”

In the caption, she added: “Life hack to make your heels comfy and to stop your toes sliding around i can confirm my heels were SO comfy”. [sic]

Many viewers were left impressed with her hack and took to the comments section to tell her so.

“Going to try this, I have a black pair like this, first night I wore them didn’t hurt but next day I had full on lines of cuts from the plastic bit!” one person wrote.

Jaimie replied: “Painful!! This makes your heel 10X more comfier, I can dance all night,” [sic] followed by a laughing emoji.

Another said: “These are my favourite shoes of all time but they hurt like hell. I’m trying this haha. Thank you! X”.

While a third added: “I just know I’m never gonna forget this”. [sic]

But others couldn’t help but point out alternatives that might work better in the long run.

One person said: “Clarks sell half insoles which would be way better and not blue so you wouldn’t see it xx”.

Another shared: “Or you can get gel heal insoles which are specifically made for this reason”. [sic]

“You can also use hair spray. Works every time for me,” a third added.
