The ban of Kai Cenat has opened up the throne for Jynxzi who now reigns supreme as the top Twitch streamer.

Not long ago, Kai Cenat claimed the top spot at Twitch in terms of subscribers, shattering records previously held by popular streamers like Ludwig and Ninja.

His recent ban gave way for other creators to shine, and claim the top spot for themselves. This means that until Cenat’s return from Twitch jail, fellow streamer Jynxzi will be holding down the fort in his place.

Despite Jynxzi’s massive popularity on the platform, with over a million followers, it came as a surprise to many that xQc, with ten times the following, wasn’t the next in line for the lead.

Currently, Jynxzi holds the highest number of current active subscribers on Twitch, as per TwitchTracker’s count of 78,053.

The streamer is also dominating the paid and gifted subscriber count, with over 50,000 paid subscribers paying for Tier 1, which costs £3.99 per month.

Taking the second spot on the list is xQc, who holds the title of most subscribers via Prime Gaming and still ranks number one in terms of his average viewership.

By connecting their accounts, Amazon Prime subscribers can claim perks like a free Tier 1 subscription to their preferred streamer.

At present, Jynxzi has a few thousand subscribers more than both xQc and Kai Cenat, who still remains close in third place.

Unlike Kai Cenat’s often chaotic streams, Jynxzi’s broadcasts mostly focus on gaming and particularly Ubisoft’s team shooter Rainbow Six Siege.

During a recent stream, Jynxzi reacted to the news that he overtook Cenat as the most-subscribed streamer and then tried to call his mum to tell her the good news.

Despite being sent to voicemail, Jynxzi’s chat was swift to offer words of support and congratulate him on his achievement.

It’s still uncertain for how long Jynxzi will be claiming the top spot, as Cenat’s ban is only temporary.

However, rumours suggest the popular streamer may be ditching Twitch and switching to Kick, so only time will tell.
