Woman gets torn apart for her ‘inappropriate’ wedding guest outfit with trolls saying it’s ‘hideous’ and ‘ridiculous’

THE rules for most weddings guests are simple, don’t drink too much, have fun, and most importantly, don’t look too bridal.

But one wedding guest might’ve missed the mark with the last rule as she turned up to a wedding wearing a embellished cream and gold dress.

RedditPeople weren’t sure what to make of the dress[/caption]

The floor length strapless gown featured floral sequin details, and the guest paired it with matching gloves and even a tiara.

When a picture of her outfit was shared on Reddit people couldn’t believe she would dare to wear such a bridal dress to someone else’s wedding.

“Let’s play guest or bride. Not sure if I’m being overly critical after seeing this dress,” the post said.

“In certain lights it definitely looked wayyyy too close to white as well,” they added.

But others agreed the dress was inappropriate and they branded the woman as an “attention seeker.”

One wrote: “That looks very close to my wedding dress tbh. I would’ve been livid if a guest wore that to my wedding.”

“Please tell me that’s the Bride.. Sis got gloves and a wedding dress on,” another said.

And someone else slammed: “Just wear a different colour it is NOT THAT HARD.”

But not everyone thought the dress was the problem, but rather pairing it with gloves and a tiara.

One quipped: “It’s funny because if she ditched the ugly gloves and threw on a chunky necklace it would almost be acceptable.”

Another agreed: “I don’t necessarily think it’s bridal, but it’s definitely inappropriate and I’d side eye that shit for sure.

“What are those gloves? And a TIARA?? She looks ridiculous.”

Although it’s not clear if the guest’s dress was approved by the newlyweds before the big day, some Reddit users thought it was a bad choice regardless.

One commented: “If you EVEN feel you have to ask the bride for permission it’s a good indication you probably should wear something else in my opinion.”
