I’m midsize and I splashed £800 on a whopping Zara haul… turns out I’m deluded, most it was awful

A MIDSIZE fashion fan has revealed that she spent a whopping £800 on a Zara haul, but wasn’t overly impressed with her new purchases. 

While Raquel Benitah was pleased with the viral Molly-Mae Hague leather jacket, one co-ord barely did up and another was totally see-through.

Taking to TikTok to show off her new purchases, Raquel shared her video with the caption ‘Realistic midsize zara haul!! Fast fashion has me in a chokehold.’

The fashion fan, who wears a size XXL, said: “Zara haul. Let’s do it.

“The issue with online shopping is that I’m deluded half the time.”

Raquel tried on her first new outfit – a cream blazer with a pair of matching trousers.

But unfortunately for the fashion fan, both the blazer and the trousers were far too tight and couldn’t be done up.

Raquel added: “So, it’s gonna be a no. Onto the next.

“I am so excited about this next set.”

Raquel then modelled her next outfit – a mesh brown co-ord, but things definitely weren’t looking up, as the outfit was completely see-through.

She continued: “Correction. I thought I was excited about this next set.

“I hate this set. Someone explain.”

But thankfully for Raquel, things soon improved, as she tried on a cropped striped shirt with a pair of black jeans.

She noted: “Love. I actually have nothing bad to say.

“I love a cropped dress shirt because every dress shirt I own is super oversized and long and it gives me no shape, so at least this is like, business in the top, party in the bottom.”

Raquel then switched her shirt for a black blazer, as she claimed: “I’m obsessed.

“Are you kidding me? All I have are oversized blazers that literally look like oceans of material on me.”

As she happily danced around in her new black number, she said: “Look my butt. Look my hips.”

Following this, the Zara fan tried on the viral Molly-Mae Hague leather jacket.

Stunned at how it looked, she explained: “No way, no way, no way.

“I’m actually gonna be broke after this haul.

“I spent over $1000 [£805] at Zara.

“Who is on the design team at Zara right now? Because sometimes you guys suck and sometimes you just hit it right out of the park and today is that day, I’m actually shocked.”

Raquel’s clip has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 36.1k views in just one week.

It has 1,337 likes, 24 comments and 6 shares.

Social media users were also left with mixed opinions at Raquel’s haul – while some were impressed with the leather jacket, others weren’t so keen on her other new looks. 

One person said: “The second fit is giving pirates of the Caribbean and I can’t explain why.” 

Another added: “In the brown suit you are completely naked.” 

A third commented: “Zara sizing is the worst babe.”
