I’m a fashion expert and here’s the rules you SHOULD be breaking on a regular basis – if Gigi Hadid wears it, so will I
A FASHION pro has revealed the four fashion rules you should be breaking – and claims that even Gigi Hadid regularly ignores one.
Cat suggested that wearing navy and black is actually very chic and that double denim is a look you should be embracing this spring.
Cat took to TikTok to share the fashion rules she thinks we should all be breaking – and recommended embracing double denim like Gigi Hadidtiktok/@glowupu
She also suggested ignoring those that say you can’t pair navy or brown with black, and claims they’re very chic lookstiktok/@glowupu

In a new TikTok reel, she said: “Four fashion rules that are super outdated.
“You can’t wear denim on denim. Um, tell that to Gigi Hadid who is slaying it.”
Sharing another photo of a woman sporting light-wash skinny jeans and a slightly darker denim jacket, she added: “This is also a really cute summer way to wear denim on denim.”
The next rule she claimed was a little outdated and should be forgotten: “You shouldn’t wear navy and black together.
“Just kidding, it’s super chic.”
Cat also encouraged her followers to ignore those that say you can’t wear brown and black together.
She continued: “You shouldn’t wear black with brown. Tell that to her because she looks wonderful.
“I especially love a black top with a brown or camel hat, so good.”
Finally, she shared her thoughts on the rule that you should never wear white after Labour Day, otherwise known as September 4.
She added: “You guys know I don’t agree with this one. I love white any time, any place.”
Fans loved her myth-busting video, with her advice gaining more than 27,100 likes and 103,700 views.
In the comments, other women shared their reactions, with another adding: “Navy and black has always been chicccc.”
“I agree with you on all of these except I cannot get behind navy and black… I wish I could,” commented another.
Cat replied: “Hahaha just give it a chance!”
A third asked: “What about mixing jewelry finishes? ie silver and gold.”
The content creator responded: “I personally love it!”
