Margaret Josephs is not here for the suggestion that she only attended Teresa Giudice’s wedding for the ‘photo opportunity’.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey OG tied the knot with Luis ‘Louie’ Ruelas last summer, with most of her Bravo co-stars in attendance – but her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife Melissa were notably absent.
Margaret later revealed that she decided to leave the celebrations early as a show of solidarity to her pals, but the admission didn’t sit well with the bride.
In fact, the RHONJ OG fumed that she shouldn’t have accepted the invitation if she was truly supporting their castmates – suggesting that she actually attended to be photographed at the ceremony.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Margaret was having none of it, and hit back: ‘I think that’s actually funny because I saw the most important part of the wedding.
‘The most important part of the wedding, to me, is when someone walks down the aisle [and] actually gets married, not when everybody’s dancing.

‘I went, not for a TV moment, I went to celebrate her. That’s what it was. I don’t need any more photo opps, I get enough photo opps, I don’t need to be getting any more photo opps.’
‘I went genuinely to support her and do the best I could for all parties involved, but I’m not going to be disingenuous and stay and dance the night away when it was a bittersweet moment,’ she insisted. ‘There was a lot of crying. As happy as it was, there were sad moments also.
‘She didn’t need me there, she had a ton of people there as well, and I wanted her to enjoy herself.
‘She can say what she wants, I don’t need any more photo opps in life. I have plenty of photo opps. This wasn’t the Beckham wedding, let’s not exaggerate.’
Margaret’s comments come after Teresa said in February that she should have missed the wedding altogether if she wanted to support Melissa.
‘If she was supporting Melissa, she should have never came at all,’ she fumed on E! News. ‘That’s what a true friend really does, not just try to come, of course, to not miss an epic wedding of the year for a photo opp and then leave.
‘Like, if you support your friend, she shouldn’t have came at all.’
Despite attending the wedding ‘for the most important part’, the New Jersey native did have a lot to say about the lead-up to the ceremony, and questioned the bride’s choice of bridesmaids.

Teresa stood at the aisle with her four daughters – Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana – by her side, and they were also joined by co-stars Dolores Catania and Jennifer Aydin in the bridal party.
However, Margaret shared her belief that the Bravo stars weren’t actually her first picks, claiming the choice was ‘convenient’ and constructed purely for TV.
‘I think that they weren’t first choice and I think it was just very convenient that they were asked as bridesmaids,’ she added.
‘Where are Teresa’s friends that she’s had in her life for many, many years? She didn’t have one of her personal friends, who I know very well, in her bridal party.
‘I think it was made for TV. Dolores has been her friend for 30 years. Dolores should have been first choice, right out of the gate.

‘Jennifer, she knows for five years. I don’t know how someone who she’s known for five years has made it, more than all of her friends who have stood by her when she was away [and] also helped take care of her kids. I just don’t understand how Jennifer made the list.’
Something tells us that those RHONJ feuds are going nowhere…
Metro.co.uk has contacted Teresa’s reps for a comment.
Real Housewives airs on Bravo on Tuesday at 9pm ET, and is available to stream on hayu in the UK on the same day.
