MrBeast’s close friend Chris Tyson has shut down rumours that they’ve been sacked from the YouTuber’s group, after fans started rumours.

Many fans noticed Chris Tyson’s absence from MrBeast’s recent Japan trip, which fuelled speculation that they have been dropped by the crew, due to coming out as transgender.

In fact, many claimed that not only was Tyson dismissed, but MrBeast was attempting to conceal the situation to avoid a backlash – despite appearing very supportive of their decision.

Ultimately, it turns out all the conspiracies are untrue, as Tyson shared a Snapchat video shutting down these malicious speculations and explaining what was really going on.

They said that they had the freedom to come and go as they pleased during the trip and that it wasn’t obligatory for them to appear on camera.

Moreover, Tyson clarified that they opted to spend time with their son Tucker instead, explaining why they weren’t seen during the trip.

‘I told Jimmy [i.e. MrBeast], just because I want to spend time with Tucker and he’s traveling a lot, I’m just going to come and go as I please. I came to Japan, and I left when I pleased,’ Tyson said.

After recalling their trip to Japan, Tyson added that they also went to Mexico with the group, where they had a similar agreement in place.

‘I don’t know if I can say I went to Mexico. I went to Mexico and then I came back,’ Tyson said.

Along with Chandler Hallow, Garrett Ronalds, and Jake Franklin, Tyson is one of four childhood friends that have been part of MrBeast’s videos since the beginning.

Tyson recently faced abuse from some fans after publicly discussing their decision to undergo Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).

For those unaware, HRT is hormone therapy for transgender or gender nonconforming individuals to align their secondary sexual characteristics with their gender identity.

Since Tyson’s announcement, MrBeast has firmly stood by them and condemned any transphobic comments directed towards them.

MrBeast recently confirmed he’s working on one of his biggest projects yet. While it remains unclear whether Tyson will be involved in the video, whatever it may be, they remain a member of the squad.
