Taking to her TikTok account @sustainablyvegan, she said: “Let’s dye my wedding dress so I can wear it again.

“I bought this dress second hand to save some money and make as sustainable a choice as possible.”

Although she originally thought about selling her gown on, she decided she would upcycle it instead.

The ivory silk dress featured lace panelling around the bust and had a flowy skirt.

Immy continued: “I kind of hate the idea of wearing something once and then letting it sit in my closet just getting dusty.

“I decided, instead of being safe, to go with a bold colour and honestly, the colour is looking so beautiful.”

The bride decided to dye her wedding dress a deep crimson red, and she clearly loved the results.

“My friend dyed her converse brown and gave me the inspo to finally dye my wedding dress,” she captioned the post revealing where she got her inspiration from.

In another clip, she showed off the new dress, blowing a kiss to the camera.

The videos have since gone viral with over 3.5million views and over 200k likes.

While some loved the idea, there were plenty of trolls claiming her dress looked more like a nightie than a wedding gown.

One person remarked: “It looks like a night dress.”

Another jibbed: “That looks like a nightgown.”

“Kinda looks like nightwear, but still so stunning” penned a third.

A fourth remarked: “Looks like a dress pyjama.”

however, others were clearly impressed with the results, one added: “You look beautiful in it.”

Someone else commented: “That is soo gorgeous.”
