I’m a pro charity shopper and found my best designer pieces yet – these Vivienne Westwood shoes were an absolute steal

A CHARITY shop pro has revealed one of her best secondhand hauls yet, after bagging a pair of Vivienne Westwood shoes and a brand-new bag for just £22.

Caroline shared everything she bought during a recent charity shop hunt in Norfolk – and people are obsessed with her designer bargain that may have saved her hundreds.

Caroline took to TikTok to share her latest secondhand haul, including this brand new Jasper Conran bag that she got for just £7 instead of £65tiktok/@caroline.shops/

However the star of the show were these £15 Vivienne Westwood flatstiktok/@caroline.shops/

Known online as The Thrifter (@caroline.shops), the keen bargain hunter regularly shares her secondhand hauls and shopping tips with her 23,800 followers.

In a new TikTok reel, she said: “I went charity shopping this weekend and I got a pair of Vivienne Westwood shoes and a brand new Jasper Conran handbag, all for under £22.”

During the two-minute video, Caroline revealed that she went secondhand shopping in Wymondham in Norfolk, and managed to find some great designer buys.

She continued: “First up, I went to a small charity shop called Star Throwers, and on the shelf, as soon as I walked in, I saw this.

“It is a brand new Jasper Conran handbag.

“I pretty much love everything about this bag. I love the colour to start with. It’s biscuity, taupe colour, and the size is perfect.

“As Goldilocks would say, it’s not too big, it’s not too small. Also, I love the fact that it’s brand new.

“It had the price tag still on which I actually took off, but the price tag on it is £65. I got it from Star Throwers for £7.”

However, her next find was the star of the show – and saved her more than XXX.

Caroline continued: “I love Vivienne Westwood. I owe a Vivienne Westwood bag which I bought from Vinted.

“But now I also own a pair of Vivienne Westwood shoes.

“More specifically, they are Vivienne Westwood Anglomania Shoes.

“They remind me very much of the jelly shoes that I would wear in the 80s, but they also have elements of glitter and sparkle to them as well.

“I saw them on a shelf when I went into the Break charity shop.

“They were my size and I thought, ‘it’s a sign’ and I bought them.

“They were a little bit more than I probably would want to pay ideally. They were £15.

“But I love the Vivienne Westwood brand, they are very nostalgia-inducing as they remind me of my youth, they’re super comfy as well, I have been wearing them. I couldn’t pass them up.

“These types of shoes sell online, secondhand, for about £25 to £30.”

Fans loved her preloved purchases, with the video gaining more than 440 likes and 7,700 views.

In the comments, other TikTokkers shared their reactions, with one writing: “OMG I’ve always wanted a Vivien Westwood piece, your charity shops are amazing, all ours have are Primark and Tesco lol.”

Another said: “The shoes! Fellow 80s girl who had jelly shoes and a jelly bag.”

“Amazing bargains Caroline,” a third added.
