Bianca Belair made WWE history as she retained the Raw Women’s Title at Backlash in Puerto Rico.
The crowd were electric from the get-go and even booed fan favourite Bianca as they rallied behind her Damage CTRL opponent even as Bayley and Dakota Kai came down to lend a helping hand.
As Michael Cole noted after she hit the K.O.D. for the win, the EST of WWE got the job done to become the longest-reigning women’s champion of the modern era.
In the second match of the night, Seth Rollins and Omos put on an entertaining show with the Nigerian Giant looking strong in his best bout to date, but still taking the loss after three stomps from the Visionary – including one off the top rope.
The night was already primed to be a special one for the first premium live event in Puerto Rico since 2005, especially after the electric crowd shone at the same venue for Friday Night SmackDown.
It was a special evening as Bad Bunny led the Latino World Order into battle to save Rey Mysterio from an attack at the hands of the Judgment Day before pulling on his LWO shirt to join the group.
He’ll be in action in one of what WWE is hailing as a ‘double main event’ during tonight’s show as he takes on friend turned rival Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight.
The Coachella headliner is no stranger to a wrestling ring after taking part in his first match at WrestleMania 37 when he and Priest teamed up to beat John Morrison and The Miz.
He returned in January 2022 as part of the Men’s Royal Rumble, but this bout will mark his singles debut for the company.
The other top-billed match for the night pits Cody Rhodes against Brock Lesnar as the American Nightmare is chasing revenge against the Beast after his attack on the Raw after WrestleMania.

Other matches set for Backlash include a SmackDown Women’s Title match with Rhea Ripley defending against Zelina Vega, and a first time battle between Omos and Seth Freakin’ Rollins.
Meanwhile, Matt Riddle is joining Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a fight with The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and The Usos.
WWE Backlash is streaming live on the WWE Network.
