It’s essential to locate geoglyphs in Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom to figure out what’s happened to Princess Zelda, so here’s how to find and activate each one. 

In Tears Of The Kingdom, geoglyphs serve a similar purpose to memories in Breath Of The Wild, which allowed Link to revisit his past moments with Princess Zelda before she was taken away. 

Locating geoglyphs is also a prerequisite to completing The Dragon’s Quest, which is one of the first quests that Link will be called to embark on. 

In order to activate geoglyphs you need to find small pools of emerald-coloured water called dragon’s tears, which will reveal a secret cut scene and the fate of the princess…

Where to find geoglyphs and dragon’s tears in Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom

Rauru geoglyph and dragon’s tear 

Geoglyph location: The geoglyph resembling Rauru is located close to the southeast of Lindor’s Brow skyview tower. You can find the locations of all the skyview towers here

Dragon’s tear location: The dragon’s tear is located towards the top centre of the geoglyph, within the the figure’s left ‘eye’. 

Castle geoglyph and dragon’s tear 

Geoglyph location: The geoglyph resembling a castle is located in the Hebra Region, west of Rito Village. 

Dragon’s tear location: The dragon’s tear is located towards the top centre of the geoglyph, in the centre tear above the castle’s gate. 

Purah pad geoglyph and dragon’s tear 

Geoglyph location: The geoglyph resembling Purah’s pad is located south of the Eldin Canyon skyview tower.  

Dragon’s tear location: The dragon’s tear is located at the centre of the geoglyph. 

Molduga geoglyph and dragon’s tear 

Geoglyph location: The geoglyph resembling a Molduga is located to the west of the Sahasra Slope skyview tower.  

Dragon’s tear location: The dragon’s tear is situated within a cluster of trees located in the region where the Molduga’s tail intersects with its body. 

Kneeling man geoglyph and dragon’s tear 

Geoglyph location: The geoglyph resembling a kneeling man is located northeast of the Gerudo Canyon skyview tower 

Dragon’s tear location: The dragon’s tear for this geoglyph is found along the ledge of the mountainside. 

Long-haired woman geoglyph and dragon’s tear 

Geoglyph location: The geoglyph resembling a long-hair woman is located north of the Gerudo Highlands skyview tower. 

Dragon’s tear location: The dragon’s tear for this geoglyph is located on the lady’s rear, amongst her hair. 

Dagger geoglyph and dragon’s tear 

Geoglyph location: The geoglyph resembling a dagger is situated west of the Lurelin village. 

Dragon’s tear location: The dragon’s tear for this geoglyph is located on the left-hand side of the dagger’s guard. 

Demon king geoglyph and dragon’s tear 

Geoglyph location: The geoglyph resembling the Demon King is located northeast of the Pikida Stonegrove skyview tower. 

Dragon’s tear location: The dragon’s tear for this geoglyph can be found at the left-hand side of the design. 

Tear stone geoglyph and dragon’s tear 

Geoglyph location: The geoglyph resembling a tear stone is located northeast of the Mount Lanayru skyview tower. 

Dragon’s tear location: The dragon’s tear for this geoglyph can be found near the slimmer side of the tear shape. 

Shrine geoglyph and dragon’s tear 

Geoglyph location: The geoglyph resembling a shrine can be found west of Lake Hylia. 

Dragon’s tear location: The dragon’s tear is located on the centre-left side of the geoglyph. 

Master sword geoglyph and dragon’s tear 

Geoglyph location: The geoglyph resembling a shrine can be found east of the Thyphlo Ruins skyview tower.  

Dragon’s tear location: The dragon’s tear for this geoglyph is located towards the tip of the blade. 

The last geoglyph and dragon’s tear 

Geoglyph location: The last geoglyph can be found east of the Ulri Mountain skyview tower, where you see a twist on the ground. 

Dragon’s tear location: The dragon’s tear for this geoglyph is located in the middle of the island, in front of the Gemimik shrine.
