Halle Bailey shared the sweetest moment with a young fan at the UK premiere of The Little Mermaid.

The actress, 23, plays Ariel in the new live-action film, starring alongside Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, Simone Ashley, as Indira, and Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, to name just a few.

Halle celebrated the highly-anticipated project in London on Monday night (May 15), as she rocked up at the Odeon Luxe Cinema in Leicester Square with the star-studded cast.

Channeling her character, the US star looked truly stunning in a plunging white gown that was inspired by a seashell and featured dazzling diamantes.

She only added to the sparkle with a silver headpiece and a pair of glittering earrings.

Halle also showcased her natural beauty with a fresh make-up look.

The whole scene was a sight to behold, with the traditionally red carpet transformed into a blue ocean-esque set-up complete with coral and rocks.

One stand-out moment, however, came as Halle interacted with a young girl, surely making her night with the cutest interaction.

The admirer held an Ariel doll tightly in her hands as she chatted to the leading lady.

Halle clasped her hands together highly in awe as she listened to the youngster intently.

She beamed as they went in for a hug in what can only be described as the most wholesome moment of the night.

Meanwhile, co-actress Melissa looked worlds away from antagonist Ursula.

The 52-year-old sported a vibrant fuschia dress, complete with ruffled detailing.

She joked around with cameras with a range of facial expressions and hand gestures, bringing the fun with both her personality and loud outfit, which she finished off with an epic pair of pink platform boots.

Elsewhere, on-screen love interest Jonah, 27, looked ever so smart in a beige double-breasted suit jacket and matching trousers, with a cream shirt and tie underneath.

He and Halle held hands as they posed for paparazzi and embraced on the carpet.

Bridgerton star Simone also looked glam.

The Sex Education star, 28, who plays one of Ariel’s mer-sisters, wore a gorgeous blush-coloured dress with sheer panels.

Simone wore her raven locks in effortless beachy waves and added a slight edge with a grey smokey-eye with and maroon lipstick.

Other cast members in attendance included Kajsa Mohammar, who also plays a mer-sister named Karina, and Jessica Alexander, who plays Vanessa.

The Little Mermaid splashes into cinemas on May 26.
