Katy Perry didn’t hold back for Disney theme night on American Idol, and we’re obsessed with her costume choice.
The California Gurls hitmaker, 38, paid homage to Helen Parr, aka Mrs Incredible, with a red wig and signature skin tight get-up from the hit Pixar film The Incredibles.
Of course, Katy had to share her elaborate ensemble on the gram. In the brief clip, the Wide Awake singer was seen getting her groove on to ‘I Like Big Books And I Cannot Lie’.
The American Idol judge is no stranger to fancy dress, and fans were here for her latest surprise, with one fan declaring: ‘You should wear this in met gala.’
‘You absolutely DEVOURED MOTHER,’ another added.
‘Incredibles Live action confirmed,’ a third enthused.

The Firework star has served as a judge on the panel since 2018, alongside fellow music icons Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.
There was a brief shake-up during the competition as Katy and Lionel jetted off to London to perform at King Charles III’s coronation.
Katy’s latest stint on the hit US talent show has sparked mixed opinions after fans criticised some of her judgements to the singing hopefuls this time around – including telling Nutsa Buzaladze that she should ‘have more grace’ following a spat with a fellow contestant.
She was also booed by an unimpressed crowd – for the first time in her five-year tenure – when she suggested that the budding musician should include less theatrics in her next performance.

Despite being hit with backlash in recent weeks, an insider claimed that the mom-of-one isn’t fussed about the reaction.
‘Katy isn’t fazed by the backlash,’ a source told PageSix. ‘This has been a rollercoaster season with a lot of great talent, so she is just doing her job.
‘She’s a mentor and a friend to the contestants.’
American Idol airs on Sundays and Mondays at 8pm ET on ABC.
