In case you didn’t know, you have the option to dye your armour in Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, allowing you to personalise it with a wide range of vibrant colours.

Tears Of The Kingdom offers a ton of freedom during gameplay, allowing you to fuse all sorts of materials with your shields and weapons, and even use Ultrahand to make some wild creations

When it comes to Link’s appearance, there’s an abundance of armour sets and items at your disposal, giving you plenty of options to deck him out. And just like in Breath Of The Wild, you also can customise the colour of his attire.

There’s a single location in the game where you can find that option and it’s quite the trek from Hyrule Castle and Lookout Landing…

The spot you’re looking for is none other than Kochi Dye Shop, located at Hateno Village, right at the southeast corner of the map. The village sits at the middle between East Necluda and Mount Lanayru.

Inside the shop, you’ll encounter a non-playable character named Sayge who offers a unique service.

He offers to dye your paraglider fabric if you show him a photograph of one of the game’s many critters as a reference.

However, you might not immediately realise that you also get the option to dye Link’s armour.

To do so, simply interact with Sayge once again, and pay him 20 rupees. Then, select the clothes you want to dye and pick five ingredients for the desired colour.

Once you’ve completed these steps, your clothes will be dyed in the colour of your choice. Keep in mind that not all clothing items can be dyed, so make sure to choose armour pieces that are customisable.

You have the option to dye certain armour pieces separately or dye an entire set at once. If you’re not satisfied with the outcome, you can request Sayge to remove the dye from your outfit for an extra fee of 20 rupees.
