Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn ‘feels distraught and slighted’ over rumoured new romance with Matty Healy-Alistair McGeorge-Entertainment – Metro

Joe Alwyn reportedly feels ‘distraught and slighted’ over Taylor Swift’s rumoured new romance with Matty Healy.
The Shake It Off hitmaker recently split from the 32-year-old actor after six years together, and has recently been linked with The 1975 frontman.
Now, a source has claimed Joe is upset over the apparent romance after placing his ‘trust’ in the 33-year-old singer when she was collaborating with the 34-year-old star towards the end of their relationship.
The insider told DailyMail.com: ‘Joe feels slighted and is distraught after seeing her budding relationship with Matt, but is doing his best to keep busy and focus on himself.’
The source rubbished any suggestion there was an ‘overlap’ between the two relationships.
They added: ‘Joe was aware that Taylor and Matt were making music together and collaborating. She told him that they had become friends and he trusted her.’

Matty and Taylor had spent some time together working on her October 2022 album Midnights.
The next month, the musician described Taylor as ‘amazing’.
The rumours all began when the 1975 singer supported Taylor at her Nashville gig a few weeks ago, and since then they have been spotted together on countless occasions.

One source even claimed to have seen them ‘cuddling and kissing’ at a restaurant, while the pair appeared to put on a united front as they left the Electric Lady Studios in New York together, he touched the small her back.
Last week, an insider claimed to Entertainment Tonight: ‘Taylor and Matty like each other. Taylor has a crush on Matty and they are having a good time hanging out.’
And another source previously said that they are both ‘incredibly supportive of their respective careers’, as they ‘understand the pressures’ of each other’s jobs ‘better than anyone’.

‘They are both massively proud and excited about this relationship and, unlike Taylor’s last one – which was very much kept out of the spotlight, deliberately – she wants to “own” this romance, and not hide it away,’ they told The Scottish Sun.
‘Taylor just wants to live her life, and be happy.’
