I snapped up a designer jacket from a charity shop & saved over £100 – it was a total steal & you could find one too
SHOPPING second hand saved a charity shop king over £100 on a posh coat and everyone is dying to know how he does it.
A savvy shopper, who calls himself Coppers, bagged an Alpha Industries coat for just a tenner and couldn’t believe his luck, but his purchase has divided the internet.

Coppers revealed how he snapped up the epic bargain in a video clip, giving viewers a sneak peek of the action.
“I was walking by the British Heart Foundation when I saw this jacket,” he says.
He moves the camera towards a shop window mannequin wearing a thigh-length winter coat with a furry hood.
“I took a closer look at it and then realised it was an Alpha Industries jacket,” he says.
The brand charges between £80 to £200 for a warm coat, so he knew he’d found himself a bargain.
Zooming in on the coat through the charity shop window, Coppers shows off the quality item which features a warm black fleece lining and the designer’s signature logo on the chest.
Coppers was so excited, he had to rush in to have a better view.
“I ran in and took it off the mannequin,” he says. “I was in really good condition and it was only £10.50. If you know about Alpha Industries, their jackets are very expensive brand new.”
The savvy shopper lays the coat on the charity shop floor and shows off the details.
He focuses on the handy arm pockets and lifts the cheap price tag to reveal the designer label inside.
“I really couldn’t believe my luck with this one,” he confesses. “So I grabbed it and ran to the checkout.”
Coppers uses TikTok to share his thrifting wins from his hometown in Cornwall.
He’s a fan of all things vintage and streetwear, picking up fabulous finds every single week.
Some followers dubbed Coppers’ bargain and ‘excellent find’.
“I refuse to accept you find these things in Falmouth,” said one jealous user.
But trolls claim he should’ve left the coat for someone more in need.
