Queen legend Sir Brian May was full of praise after watching schoolboy Harry Churchill absolutely smash his guitar solo audition on Britain’s Got Talent.

Harry, 11, took to the stage on Saturday night to show off his incredible musical ability in a bid to impress judges Simon Cowell, 63, Amanda Holden, 52, Alesha Dixon, 44, and Bruno Tonioli, 67.

The youngster rocked out to a Queen medley and performed some of the band’s greatest hits, including We Will Rock You, during which he played the guitar behind his back.

The judges were in awe of Harry’s talent and awarded him with four yesses, meaning that he sailed through to the next round.

But it wasn’t just the panellists who were blown away, as Sir Brian, 75, also couldn’t help but heap praise on the young star.

Taking to Instagram, Sir Brian, who is Queen’s lead guitarist, posted a video of Harry’s audition.

‘Harry Rocks!!!!’ he exclaimed. ‘Had to post this … congratulations Harry Churchill @harrysguitartime on smashing it tonight on @bgt!!!

‘Go kill’em!!! Thanks @taliadean for the tip-off ! Bri.’

Sir Brian’s followers were equally stunned and raced to share their thoughts with one writing: ‘Wow! Keep on Rockin’ Harry!! 11 years old! You’ve got to be kidding me! Fantastic!! Thanks for posting, Sir Bri!’

Another added: ‘Hell yeah, he delivered!!’

Has Harry got what it takes to go on and win the entire series? Only time will tell…

His guitar work and songwriting contributions helped the world-famous group become one of the most successful in music history.

Have the BGT judges found themselves a young Sir Brian in Harry?

Britain’s Got Talent continues on Saturday at 8pm on ITV1.
