A FASHION fanatic has hailed a bargain Matalan dress as the perfect summer staple after picking it up for just £8.

In a recent Instagram post (@mamareid) she modelled a black and white animal print midi dress she picked up on the sales rack.
She joked she was “channeling her inner Kat Slater” but insisted it’s an easy dress to wear in the warmer weather.
She said: “This dress was £8 in the Matalan sale, what a find.
“This is your sign to buy easy dresses for spring and summer this year.
“I love being able to just throw this style of dress on with sandals or trainers and I’m ready to go. So comfy but I feel nice.”
The mum of two paired the bargain frock with a leather jacket and black Birkenstock sandals.
She added: “PS. These Birkenstocks are literally about 7/8 years old and I wear them constantly.”
And her 68,000 followers are loving her stylish look.
One gushed: “You look absolutely beautiful babe. I need this dress in my life.”
A second wrote: “I got this after seeing your post! £8 as well. Totally copied your look, slides and leather jacket.”
Meanwhile, a third added: “You look amazing as always honey. That dress really suits you.”
