Melissa McCarthy takes savage swipe at dad-of-12 Nick Cannon-Ruth Lawes-Entertainment – Metro

Melissa McCarthy couldn’t resist making a brutal gag about father-of-12 Nick Cannon.
The 42-year-old has famously fathered 12 children with six different women, and recently awkwardly forgot one of them when he tried to name them all.
And his brood was hilariously referenced by the Bridesmaids actress, 52, when she appeared on Wednesday’s Good Morning Britain to promote The Little Mermaid with co-star Javier Bardem, 54.
Speaking about his character King Triton, Javier said: ‘I have seven daughters and each one is different race and they come from different origins. I asked Rob [Marshall], “What’s going on here?” and he said, “When you were reproducing, the essence of every sea was involved.”
‘And I said, “Ok, that makes sense. I buy it.’

GMB’s entertainment correspondent Richard Arnold joked: ‘I’d also imagine you’d swim up sea quite capably, Javier, and you’ve clearly done the job with seven daughters in this particular film.’
Chiming in, Melissa delivered her savage gag: ‘You’re the Nick Cannon of the sea,’ prompting laughter from Richard, 53, and the Bond actor.
Nick is dad to twins Moroccan and Monroe, who he shares with Mariah Carey after welcoming them in April 2011.

He then welcomed two children with Brittany Bell, in February 2017, Golden Sagon, and in December 2020, Powerful Queen.
Twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir were born in June 2021, with Abby De La Rosa, and just days later, Alyssa Scott announced the birth of her and Nick’s son Zen, who tragically died from a brain tumour at just five months old.
In 2022, Nick went on to welcome five children: Legendary Love with Bre, Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha La Cole, Rise Messiah with Brittany, Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby, and Halo Maria with Alyssa.
He shares his eighth kid with new Selling Sunset cast member Bre Tiesi, who revealed he doesn’t pay child support.
