Primark fans go wild for the new nostalgic cartoon collection with some saying they’ll take out a mortgage to nab it all

PRIMARK fans are going wild for the new-in Peanuts collection that is going to give you serious nostalgia. 

So if you used to read the comic strip Peanuts or watched the TV series back in the day, then you’ll need to listen up.

Primark recently took to their official TikTok account, @primark, to show off the new clothing collection, leaving social media users open-mouthed.

The popular high-street chain shared the clip with the caption ‘Bringing some nostalgia to your FYP.’ 

The collection is based on Peanuts, the American animated television series, which was based on the comic strip of the same name. 

The strip’s original run launched in 1950 and extended to 2000, continuing in reruns afterward.

Peanuts is among the most popular and influential in the history of comic strips and the series was created by Charles M. Schulz. 

The series first aired in 2014 and later began airing in the United States on Cartoon Network and Boomerang in 2016, as interstitial shorts.

Now it is currently available to watch on Apple TV+. 

Many will recognise the characters – Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, and Sally – so it’s no surprise that the Primark collection has impressed many.

There’s a variety of different cute clothing items available, including sweatshirts and t-shirts with the characters’ faces on.

There’s also a matching purple co-ord set that is brilliant for running errands.

As well as this, there’s also a grey sweatshirt with matching shorts, perfect for chilling around the house. 

Even better, there’s even a gorgeous pink summer vest that would look great paired with denim shorts on a warm sunny day. 

The clip was shared alongside an audio from the Simpsons, of a conversation between Marge and Lisa. 

Marge said: “But this is a real find.”

To this, her daughter Lisa responded: “Just buy it, you don’t have to rationalise everything.”

To this, Marge was convinced and replied: “Hmmm… alright. I will buy it.”

It has 6,327 likes, 77 comments and 152 shares.

Social media users were gobsmacked at the collection and were eager to snap it up, which many took to the comments to express. 

One person said: “The grey shorts are a need.”

Another added: “I love it.”

A third commented: “I want it.”

Someone else joked: “Let me take out a mortgage then.”
